May 2017 - We have received a grant from the Edinburgh Neuroscience RS MacDonald Seedcorn Fund, in collaboration with Sergiy Sylantyev and Noboru Komiyama. This will allow us to investigate interactions between mGluR and NMDA receptors.

22 June 2010 - I have been awarded the Christian Doppler Prize 2009 in Biology from the State of Salzburg (Austria) for my work on calmodulin and on allosteric regulation. The Christian Doppler Prize is awarded in five different categories every two years. It is named after Salzburg-born physicist Christian Doppler, who discovered the Doppler effect.
